  • What forms of payment do you accept?
    Check Cashiers check Venmo @Zeigler-Tree Credit Card (add 4% processing fee)
  • How long is my estimate good?
    Estimates are seasonal and are determined valid or not through the previous estimator.
  • Do I need to be home during my quote?
    No, you do not need to be home. However, it is recommended that someone be home so that an estimator can walk you through the scope of work and the processes required to complete the project.
  • Do I need to be home when Zeigler comes out to do my tree work?
    No, you do not need to be home. Based on your preferences, rest assured that you will come home to a clean yard and the work you and the estimator agreed upon completed.
  • When do I pay for tree work and stump grinding?
    Payment for tree work is to be received upon completion of tree work, and stump payments are to be paid upon completion of stump grinding. If you wish to pay it all at once, payment is due after tree work.
  • Is Zeigler Tree insured?
    Yes, we are fully licensed and properly insured. We carry five million in both general liability and workers compensation.
  • What happens to the stump shavings after stump grinding?
    After grinding, the stump shavings are piled in their original location. Stump chip removal can be purchased for additional cost.
  • Can Zeigler provide quotes over the phone?
    Due to the amount of significant variables and precautionary measures, all quotes must be completed on site so that the removal process can be assessed by an estimator.
  • Are there any disclaimers?
    Payment is to be made immediately upon completion of the contracted work. Stump grinding is scheduled after the tree work is performed due to our tree crews and stump crews being two separate divisions. Payment for tree work is to be received upon completion of tree work and stump payments are to be paid upon completion of stump grinding. If you wish to pay it all at once, payment is due after tree work. Zeigler Tree & Timber Company is not responsible for any undisclosed items underground (e.g., irrigation systems, septic tanks, etc.), driveways, sidewalks, or grass during the tree removal process. Cancellations of a contract can be subjected to a 20% cancellation fee. Zeigler Tree is not held liable for any work or damage done.
